Based on feedback from members and to further improve the flow of the carnival, we are implementing a staggered start on Friday 20 September 2024.
Tots – 9s:
- Meet age age tubs in the middle of the field at 5:30 pm for a warm up.
- First event will start at 5:45 pm sharp
10s – opens:
- Meet at age tubs in the grandstand at 6:00 pm
- Please remain off the competition area until Block 2 events are called

Our registration pickup nights are August 23 and August 30 and the first comp night is September 6. Please do your best to register as early as possible so we can have your rego packs ready for rego pickup nights. We will have a very limited chance to hand out rego packs on comp nights so it will be better for everyone if you can have your packs before the first night commences.
This year Little Athletics and Athletics NSW are working together to provide a single registration which means a slight change to the naming of age groups. Instead of being U/6s, U/7s etc., age groups will simply be called 6s, 7s etc. Once you enter your child’s DOB, the correct age group will automatically be assigned.

Congratulations to all our athletes who competed at Regionals over the weekend! We had some great results with 107 medals including 2 gold and a bronze for our relay teams! This week we are back to our usual Friday comp night, running Week 2 of the program. We look forward to seeing you all there!
Our annual Norm Johnson carnival will be running on Saturday 24 February from 2pm. Registrations are now open through ResultsHQ – go to nominations and select Norm Johnson Carnival to register. Each age group will have 6 events including a feature event that will be announced on the day! Entry is $15.
We will be running a comp night on Wednesday 31/1/24 as the centre is booked for Region Championships on the Friday.
Region Championships is coming up on Feb 2,3 and 4 at Hunter Sports Centre. Please check the entry list to confirm whether your child is competing. The order of events has been released so you can plan your weekend.

For our ZONE athlete’s we will send you the weekend program as soon as head office releases it to us.
The program will help you pick what parent helper duty you can help the athletes with over the weekend, below is the sign-up genius form.
