State Qualifiers have been released, congratulations to the 46 athletes who made it! Check here for the list of qualified athletes. All the information on State Championships can be found on the LANSW website – https://lansw.com.au/state-track-field-championships/.
Congratulations to all our athletes who competed at Regionals over the weekend! We had some great results with 107 medals including 2 gold and a bronze for our relay teams! State qualifiers, please check out https://lansw.com.au/state-track-field-championships/ for all the info on State Champs which will be held on March 22-24.
This week we are back to our usual Friday comp night, running Week 2 of the program. We look forward to seeing you all there!
Our annual Norm Johnson carnival will be running on Saturday 24 February from 2pm. Registrations are now open through ResultsHQ – go to nominations and select Norm Johnson Carnival to register. Each age group will have 6 events including a feature event that will be announced on the day! Entry is $15.
We will be running a comp night on Wednesday 31/1/24 as the centre is booked for Region Championships on the Friday.
Region Championships is coming up on Feb 2,3 and 4 at Hunter Sports Centre. Please check the entry list to confirm whether your child is competing. The order of events has been released so you can plan your weekend.
Please note: each athlete attending regionals will have to pay an entry fee of $15 before Friday 2nd Feb. Please make payment with athlete’s name in the description to:

Just a reminder that there is NO Friday night comp this week (24.11.23) due to the track being booked for the ZONE Carnival this weekend.
For our ZONE athlete’s we will send you the weekend program as soon as head office releases it to us.
The program will help you pick what parent helper duty you can help the athletes with over the weekend, below is the sign-up genius form.
Normal Friday night comp will resume on 1st December.

ZONE ENTRY IS DUE
Entries are due next week PLEASE make sure you follow the instructions listed and enter your little athlete.
Entry is free! All that’s required is a one hour parent duty slot per athlete over the weekend.
*Go to https://resultshq.com.au/login and log in to your account. If you have a primary and secondary account, you must log in with your primary account. If you haven’t logged in previously then your username and password is the same one you used to register. If you have forgotten your password click “Trouble logging in?” and enter your email address.
*Go to “Nominations” at the top of the screen.
*Select ‘Lake Macquarie Zone Championships” – Begin Nomination.
*Then select the events you wish to compete in. PLEASE NOTE: The Dates/Times are placeholders ONLY.
*Once events are selected, click next for a summary and then next again to the payment screen.
*No payment is required, but you need to select Cash/EFT from the drop down menu to continue.
*Once complete you should receive an email confirming your events.
You can edit your events after nomination at any time.
NOMINATIONS CLOSE at 9pm on the 10th of November.

Our season 21/22 Presentation Day will be held on Saturday 14th May 2022 at Club Macquarie from 3pm.

Welcome back to the 2021/22 Little Athletics season at Macquarie Hunter Athletics Club.

Registration 21/22 Season
Before you begin though here is some important information.
REGISTERING ON THE NEW GAMEDAY PLATFORM
GameDay is a new registration system for the 2021/22 season. Therefore even if your child is a returning athlete you will need to log in as a New Participant when you log in for the first time.
ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS
The $100 State Government Active Kids vouchers can be used towards your membership. It is recommended that you apply for your voucher prior to commencing the registrations process so you have the number ready. You can apply for this voucher by CLICKING HERE. The voucher number you receive for each child should be added on the final page before payment. It is recommended that you register your child with the same name that appears on your Medicare Card as this will match the record in the Active Kids Voucher system.
TRIAL MEMBERS
Trial memberships are only available to those who are new to Little Athletics. It is recommended that you don’t use an Active Kids voucher for this as if you do want to continue, the voucher cannot be held as a credit for your full registration.
REGISTERING MULTIPLE CHILDREN
If you are registering multiple children there will be an option on the first page to selected first, second, third and fourth child. Please only select one type at a time and move through the process for each child individually. Once the process for each child is complete you will be able to add additional children before payment.
AGE GROUPS
If unsure of your child’s age group click here. You won’t however need this information when registering as it will automatically calculate the correct age group when you add their date of birth.
PROOF OF AGE
Proof of age is required for all new members. This may be a birth certificate, passport or health book. You can upload this document during the registration process or bring it along to your Centre on your first day to be sighted.
PARENT DECLARATION AND WORKING WITH CHILDREN DECLARATION
You will also be required to confirm you have read and understand the parent/guardian declaration and provide your Centre with a completed Little Athletics NSW Working With Children declaration.
DUAL MEMBERS WITH ATHLETICS NSW (ANSW)
For Athletes aged U12-U17, you will have the option to select if you would like your child to be a Dual Member with ANSW. The ANSW Dual Membership is free and entitles you to access to all ANSW competitions including State Championships, the opportunity to qualify for a NSW team to compete at Nationals, and importantly an opportunity to transition into senior athletics. Athletics NSW memberships for the 2021/2022 will be open mid to late September 2021 and you will be sent more information to complete the registration process at this time.
REGISTRATION PLATFORM
Little Athletics NSW has moved to a new registration system in 2021. Due to this you will need to enter all your details even if your child is a returning participant. This registration however will be matched with your historical data.

Some important changes to note:
- The Hunter Sports Centre is resurfacing their track in early 2022 and as a result, our season will run from Friday, November 5th until Friday, January 28th 2021.
- During this time we will be aiming to have 14 carnival nights made up of mainly Friday nights with some Wednesday evenings as well.
- From January 2022 – March 2022 Cardiff District Athletics Club has offered to accept our athletes on their Friday night carnivals where our athletes will be able to go and continue their athletics at no additional charges.
• Athletes will still represent our club at all athletic events including local
carnivals zone, regional and state championships with our full support.
• REDUCED registration fees making it a cost-effective way to enjoy athletics.
